Gibson and Guitar Center to Host Molly Tuttle Guitar Workshop and Q&A

GRAMMY®-winning guitarist and songwriter Molly Tuttle is teaming up with Gibson and Guitar Center to bring her skills from the stage to select stores for a series of guitar workshops and Q&A sessions this fall alongside her nationwide “The Highway Knows Tour” and the release of her new album So Long Little Miss Sunshine.

The events, held in five cities beginning September 10 in Chicago, will feature Tuttle performing songs in an intimate acoustic setting and breaking down the techniques from her own songs. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions and, at each stop, enter to win an Epiphone J-45 Express acoustic guitar courtesy of Gibson Gives, the company’s philanthropic arm.

“I started playing guitar when I was eight years old and have always enjoyed spending time at guitar stores, admiring and learning about the different instruments on display,” says Molly Tuttle. “I’m thrilled to partner with Guitar Center and Gibson to host workshops where I get to shed some light on my playing style, answer your questions, and give away guitars to aspiring players at Guitar Center stores along my fall tour stops!”

So Long Little Miss Sunshine is Tuttle’s fifth full album with eleven original songs and one unexpected cover of Icona Pop and Charli xcx’s “I Love It.” After two GRAMMY-winning albums in succession with her band Golden Highway, this new album was recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce. Molly’s new band with Mair Meyer on mandolin, Ellen Angelico on electric and steel guitar, Vanessa McGowan on bass, and Megan Jane on drums, will be on the road this fall for “The Highway Knows Tour”, kicking off in Chicago.
