Available today, Debbie Gibson, the powerhouse of pop music, officially published her long-awaited memoir, ‘Eternally Electric,’ with Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.
In this debut, Gibson reflects on the many lessons she has learned through her years as a young pop star and her journey to embracing her authentic self. She candidly details her life managing anxiety, depression, financial struggles, and illness, and how she ultimately redesigned her life to overcome them.
At only 16, Debbie released her multi-platinum debut album Out of the Blue and recorded “Foolish Beat” in 1988, making her the youngest person ever to write, produce, and perform a Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper.
Alongside the launch of her memoir, Gibson released the music video for her single Legendary, a standout from her 2021 acclaimed album ‘The Body Remembers.’ The video for Legendary (directed by Nick Spanos) captures the spirit of strength and perseverance found throughout her book. The video also features Fred Coury (drummer from Cinderella), DJ Ashba (formerly Guns N’ Roses), and Beibut Shumenov (two-division world champion).
