Marlene Hutchinson is a true pioneer in the guitar world. Not only is she an accomplished musician, she is also an author and producer of books, CDs, and DVDs. Her latest creation, Marlene’s Tips For Guitar Playing Success just released July 23rd and contains 150 helpful guitar playing tips in an easy to navigate format. With chapters such as ‘Practice’, ‘Playing and Performing’, and ‘Guitar Gear’. Her book also contains a FAQ section designed to help you progress successfully at your own pace.
Hailed as “the pied piper of instructional guitar.” by Acoustic Guitar magazine, Hutchinson has received rave reviews for her instructional books. In 2009 she created a one day workshop called, Learn to Play the Guitar in a Day! which was then turned into a DVD that premiered on PBS in 2012.
