Known for her raw, guitar-driven sound and fearless emotional honesty, Margaret Glaspy has emerged as one of indie rock’s most compelling voices. Praised by The New York Times, NPR, Pitchfork, MOJO, and more, her songwriting confronts love, grief, doubt, and resilience with clarity and conviction. Originally from Red Bluff, California, she began writing songs at 15 and broke through with her acclaimed debut Emotions and Math. Her latest work, The Golden Heart Protector, continues her evolution as an artist defined by authenticity and creative courage. Glaspy is hosted by Gibson.
The She Rocks Awards honors women who have made a significant impact across the music and audio industries—celebrating artists, executives, innovators, and advocates whose work continues to inspire and empower others.
