From Inspiration to Track: She Rocks Songwriting & Production — Celebrating Women Who Shape the Sound of Today
The Women’s International Music Network and the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment hosted a vibrant evening that dives deep into the artistry, innovation, and community driving today’s music. Held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, the event highlighted the creative journeys of groundbreaking women across songwriting and production, blending discussion, performance, and networking in an atmosphere of empowerment and collaboration.
The event began with the Pro Panel, a candid conversation moderated by AIJIA — an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer whose credits include work with Selena Gomez, Anderson .Paak, Christina Perri, and more. With performances on SNL, Ellen, and The Tonight Show, AIJIA brings both industry experience and heartfelt advocacy for women in music to the stage. Beyond her impressive resume, she’s known for her mentorship and advocacy for women in music — making her the perfect voice guiding this empowering dialogue.

“In a room full of men, it’s usually assumed the guy is the producer,” said one panelist. “Even if he’s making his first track, his confidence shoots through the roof. Meanwhile, women are overcoming Imposter syndrome to take up space.”
Each speaker emphasized that authenticity, self-belief, and a strong sense of community are essential to creative success. They shared how personal and collective challenges can serve not as obstacles, but as catalysts that spark innovation and artistic transformation.
