As more and more festivals, performances and concerts are canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 shutdown, artists and musicians from across the globe are taking to social and streaming platforms to play live for their fans.

NPR Music has compiled an ongoing list of live audio and video streams from around the world, which are categorized by date and genre and include links out to streaming platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Some may require registration or a subscription, but most will be offered free to the public, often with digital tip jars and opportunities to directly support artists by buying music and merchandise.

Some artists are planning daily and weekly streams — like H.E.R., Melissa Etheridge, Mindi Abair, AIZA, Tokimonsta, Natalie Skyy, and Christine and the Queens — and will be noted below as information becomes available.
